But we can tell you:

  • This musical was the final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein, which was destined to become the world's most beloved musical based on the story of the Von Trapp Family Singers.

  • Winner of 6 Tony Awards which included Best Musical, Book and Score. It has been performed on Broadway several times, toured nationally and on hundreds of stages the world over.

  • The movie won 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
