General Information
- Prepare both a ballad and an upbeat song which best shows your vocal range and is relative to the spirit of the show. (You may sing from the show) - PLEASE bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. - NO IMPROMPTU VOCAL. NO TAPES OR CD's, PLEASE! - Be Prepared to sing and dance/move - Auditions will close promptly at times stated. - The Role of Francis (Frankie) has been cast. - Roles Open to all Races & Ethnicities
"PLAID TIDINGS" is the holiday edition of "Forever Plaid". While this show follows a similar format, most of the music is different from the original show. The PLAIDS are a male quartet who sing popular songs of the 1950's and 1960's in tight, four-part harmony. Experience with choral/harmony singing is highly desirable.

Role	Role Description
SPARKY	Energetic, mischievous comic engine of the show who loves to perform. Baritone to high "F" sharp.
JINX	An extremely shy and sensitive soul. High tenor. Must be comfortable with high "A"s and "B"s, with some high, high "C"s and "D"s sprinkled throughout.
SMUDGE	A chronic worrier and the intellectual of the group. Mostly comfortable bass range to low "F". Needs high "F" for solo.
